Easy Keyguard is a tool operated by Avaz that converts screenshots of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) apps into print-ready keyguards.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Easy Keyguard processes, why we process it, how it is handled, and the rights and choices available to you.
Easy Keyguard is operated by Avaz ("we", "us", or "our").
For purposes of applicable data-protection laws, Avaz is the data controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

We handle only what is needed to build your keyguard and keep the tool working.
We never store your screenshots.
Each one is used once to detect the buttons and build your keyguard. It is never saved, shared, or used for analytics or ads.
A small amount of anonymous usage data, so we can see how the tool is doing and improve it. None of it identifies you, and none of it includes your images.

The first time you download a keyguard, we ask for a few details. We also receive anything you send through a contact or feedback form.

If you would rather we did not contact you, reply to any email from us or write to support@avazapp.com and we will stop, and delete your details if you ask.
Easy Keyguard has no accounts and no sign-in. Apart from the details above, we never build advertising profiles, and we do not store your full IP address. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the service you request and our legitimate interest in improving the tool and asking its users for feedback.
Easy Keyguard uses a first-party cookie to group activity into an anonymous visit.
The cookie contains a randomly generated identifier. It does not contain your name, email address, or other directly identifying information. This allows us to understand usage at the visit level rather than treating every event as coming from a separate visitor.
You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings. Easy Keyguard continues to function without this cookie.
We use a limited number of service providers to operate Easy Keyguard.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Uploaded screenshots and device photos: not retained. They are discarded immediately after processing (see "Data we process").
Generated keyguard files: held for a short time so you can download them, then removed.
Analytics data: kept only as long as needed to understand usage and improve the service.
Your email and the details you give us: kept for up to 24 months from when you last gave them, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

Because Easy Keyguard does not require an account and much of the analytics data is anonymous, we may not always be able to identify or associate anonymous information with a particular individual.

Easy Keyguard is used by families, therapists, educators, and professionals supporting people who use AAC. These users may include children and other vulnerable individuals. We have designed the service with this context in mind. In particular:
Our goal is to minimise the amount of information that needs to be retained while still allowing Easy Keyguard to perform its intended function.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information processed by Easy Keyguard.
These measures include request-size limits, rate limiting, restricted outbound requests, and security controls designed to reduce the risk of unauthorised access or unintended exposure.
We continue to review and improve our security practices as the service develops.
Easy Keyguard is currently offered in early access.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date.
