Easy Keyguard™ is a tool operated by Avaz, LLC that converts screenshots of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) apps into print-ready keyguards.

We handle only what is needed to build your keyguard and keep the tool working.
Screenshots are not retained after processing.
Each one is used once to detect the buttons and build your keyguard. Screenshots are not retained after processing except as technically necessary to provide the service, troubleshoot issues, or comply with legal obligations. It is not saved, shared, or used for analytics or ads.
Basic usage data, to help us improve the tool. It never includes your name, email address or images. We use cookies for this only if you allow them.

The first time you download a keyguard, we ask for a few details. We also receive anything you send through a contact or feedback form.

These questions are meant for adults. Please do not enter the personal details of a child under 13. Please also do not send us health or medical information about yourself or anyone else in a message. If you do, you are responsible for having any consent that disclosure needs.
If you would rather we did not contact you, reply to any email from us or write to support@avazapp.com and we will stop, and delete your details if you ask.
Easy Keyguard has no accounts and no sign-in. Apart from the details above, we never build advertising profiles, and your IP address is not stored with your usage data. We process uploaded content and requested keyguard information because it is necessary to provide the service you request. We use analytics cookies only with your consent. We process cookie-free usage counts and feedback information based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and evaluating the service.
We use analytics cookies only if you choose Allow. Without them, we still count visits, but nothing is stored on your device for analytics.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Decline.
We use a limited number of service providers to operate Easy Keyguard.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms. You can contact us to ask about the regions in which our service providers process your data.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Uploaded screenshots and device photos: Not retained They are discarded after processing (see "Data we process").
Generated keyguard files: held for a short time so you can download them, then removed.
Hosting request logs: kept for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting. Like most websites, these include IP addresses.
Analytics data: kept by our analytics provider for up to 7 years.
Your email and the details you give us: kept for up to 24 months from when you last gave them, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
We may keep information longer where we need it to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or enforce our terms.

Because Easy Keyguard does not require an account and analytics data is pseudonymous, we may not always be able to identify or associate pseudonymous information with a particular individual.

Easy Keyguard is used by families, therapists, educators, professionals, and other adults supporting people who use AAC. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it. These users may include children and other vulnerable individuals. We have designed the service with this context in mind. In particular:
Our goal is to minimise the amount of information that needs to be retained while still allowing Easy Keyguard to perform its intended function.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information processed by Easy Keyguard.
These measures include request-size limits, rate limiting, restricted outbound requests, and security controls designed to reduce the risk of unauthorised access or unintended exposure.
No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a personal data breach, we will investigate and respond appropriately and provide notifications required by applicable law.
We continue to review and improve our security practices as the service develops.
